Zoey Warri

Campbellsville University Undergraduate Senior

Zoey Warri, a committed biology major, has been a member of the Sahu Research Group for over two summers.

Her research focuses on the effects of 2,4-Dinitrophenol on the dynamic properties of cancer-mimic membranes, utilizing Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Spectroscopy. This advanced technique illuminates the intricate interactions within cellular membranes, providing valuable insights into the biochemical mechanisms that underlie cancer.

In 2023, Zoey had the opportunity to present her findings at the Kentucky Academy of Science annual meeting, where she engaged with fellow researchers and shared her work.

With her sights set on medical school after graduation, Zoey is poised to translate her research experience into a future filled with potential that will impact health and medicine.
