Her reliability and commitment were evident during her first summer here, where she immersed herself in the lab's procedures and initiated the crucial data collection process. Patricia’s primary investigation centers around disease-causing mutations linked to KCNE3, displaying her keen interest in understanding the molecular foundations of diseases.

Beyond her academic prowess, Patricia exemplifies compassion and leadership as a youth ambassador for the Panzi Foundation.
