Kayla Hamilton, a Biology major and with double minors in Chemistry and Music, has proven to be an exceptional addition to our research lab focused on KCNE3 membrane protein studies. Her strong work ethic and reliability stand out, allowing her to effectively support ongoing projects while effortlessly adapting to our dynamic lab environment.

While many first-time lab assistants find themselves overwhelmed with the learning curve, Kayla has distinguished herself by quickly assimilating knowledge from her more experienced peers. This remarkable ability not only accelerated her integration into the lab but also allowed her to take on substantial responsibilities, including initiating data collection and contributing meaningfully to our research efforts.

Currently interning at Spring View Hospital, Kayla is honing her practical skills, further enhancing her readiness for a future in medicine. Aspiring to attend medical school post-graduation, she is poised to bring her dedication and talent to the next phase of her academic and professional journey. Her commitment to excellence will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on both our lab and the medical field.
